Maintaining Your Ultrasonic Cleaning Machine

leave a comment »

An ultrasonic cleaner is intended to clean a wide variety of items. The term washing machine is applied to those machines that  use water as the main cleaning solution. Dry cleaning, on the other hand, uses a lot of substitute cleaning fluids and is only performed by a specialist or ultrasonic cleaner.  All washing machines work by combining thermal, chemical and mechanical energy.
Washing Machine Maintenance
The key for ultrasonic machine maintenance is to take good care of it.   Inspect the fittings and hoses. Ensure that the hoses are not blistered or cracked. You should make sure the  fittings are in good condition and don’t show signs of corrosion.  Water should not be dripping. It’s best to replace the fittings and hoses once every few years as part of general  maintenance even if there are no problems. It is a safety precaution to avoid future problems and hassles.

The next step is confirming the leveling. Use a leveling tool to adjust the feet until the unit is balanced.

Keep the machine clean and spotless in the outside. Bleaches and soaps may cause damage on the machines exterior.   Always remember to clean the stainless steel tub once every few months.  As well as change the ultrasonic cleaning solution.

Always use the minimum amount of  detergent that is necessary for the job. Some materials have a reaction to strong detergents and can become pitted. Sometimes  cleaning agents can ruin your base material. As a general rule, liquid detergents are way better than powdered detergents.

The last advice would be to get a service call if needed. Make service calls as a routine habit as part of washing machine maintenance. The machine life may be extended if the service person is able to remove the cover and clean it from the inside. Never try to remove the front panel.
